Walter and Pearl Bloom founded Camp Playland “the day camp with the away camp atmosphere” in 1957 and opened Playland Nursery School in 1976.

Gary Bloom and his wife, Barbara, own and direct the New Canaan, Connecticut (CT) campus of Camp Playland and Playland Nursery School.

Richard Bloom and his wife, Barbara, own and direct the Redding, Connecticut (CT) campus of Camp Playland.
